I see the tree outside my window, flowers in a vase, my water bottle, my glasses cleaner, my lamp. I hear a fan overhead, the fan in my brother’s room, the garbage truck outside, and paper flapping. I feel my hair on my back, the carpet at my feet, the chair I’m sitting on. I taste orange and blackberries. I smell laundry detergent
so do we turn to the mindfulness exercise whenever we go autopilot?

I’m grateful for my dog, my sister, my best friend, and that my brain is still willing to learn

I want to start journaling again. I sometimes get massages. I listen to my favorite playlist. I also need more sleep
